So, today Peptinedine completed her botany training.

I really liked the end of this arc. Fufucha being a consummate pacifist and having trouble squaring the circle that the goods she forages are used to help the war go on... Very compelling to me. The end of it was hopeful, in a good way, not a schmaltzy way. She has to go on because in her action, she is helping people nonetheless, towards a more peaceful world.

10 10 10, perfect score, no notes. Funnily enough, Peptinedine reached the last leg of the quest around 9am Eorzea time, just in time to find the Spruce she needed.

Then Peptinedine helped the Doman refugees make their way from Vesper Bay to the gates of Ul'dah, thus reaching the spot i needed to for Wednesday's Meeting. I liked the kids excitedly asking Peptinedine questions about becoming adventurers like her. Very cute interaction.

Lastly, Peptinedine sourced some very fresh Eft Tail and cooked the highest quality possible Dzemael Gratin she could... So I think that means it's time to knock out the Culinarian quests out of the park as well. The Storyline there was perhaps a bit lower key but still interesting. Can't wait to see its conclusion.

Next Up: Peptinedine's Training as a culinarian ends, and her life as a chef begins. Allez Cuisine!

So, today Peptinedine Met with the Doman Emissary, who it turns out, is the leader of a group of refugees from a purge done by the Garleans when Doma tried to declare independence.

Naturally, they ended up in Ul'Dah and asked for Ul'Dah to take them as refugees. Sadly, even getting an audience was an ordeal. And when they did, Yugiri even offered to LOAN OUT HER PEOPLE UNTIL DEBT WAS PAID. to the damned Syndicate. Thankfully, the Syndicate either did not realize the opportunity for abuse or couldn't afford to take it... But holy shit, Yugiri. DO NOT GO TO THE CAPITALISTS AND OFFER YOURSELF AND YOUR 200 REFUGEES AS INDENTURED SERVANTS!

Anyway, Alphinaud ever the opportunist decided to take Yugiri on her offer and offered her group a spot at Mor Dhona... Thankfully, Alphinaud isn't a complete asshole to my reckoning so i don't think he'll abuse this power.

Now is the matter of transportation (That's her next goal.)

After getting that ready in Vesper Bay, Peptinedine moved to master Botany. Become a foraging Rockstar. All so she can also become a god-tier chef. Turns out a few days ago, when she started climbing through the ranks at the Bismarck, she found a real love for the trade. the only thing stopping her having ben a shortage of nutmeg...

Well, now a level 44 Botanist, she has Nutmeg in droves. She'll finish the level 50 Botany quest and then return to the Bismarck with the freshest ingredients anyone's ever seen.

NEXT UP: Peptinedine escorts the Domans to Mor Dhona after mastering Botany. Lots of tasty ingredients in the near future.

PS: The "Give Laurel to Yannie" bit blew my mind since the Laurel/Yanny Meme apparently came out like 5 years after A Realm Reborn.

Today, Peptinedine got further in to the Amalj'aa tribe, met a traitorous tempered Flamefang. Loonh Gah killed him easily, but got ambushed by the leader of the Tempered Amalj'aa! The man who killed her mother and left her for dead.

Then Peptinedine rendezvoused wit Thancred and Y'shtola in Horizon once more. A Plan was hatched where Y'Shtola would pose as a crystal miner to attract thieves. (Turns out? She's very cute in her miner disguise). The thieves there? Sea wolves... curious.

There was unfortunately no Datacenter travel tonight, i was a bit tired and didn't want to do a trial in the end. So I just did tribal quests and left it at that.

That said, now Peptinedine is to meet with Alphinaud at the quay... mayhaps she'll meet the Doman emissary.

Oh, and what the heck si Alisaie up to? I've seen her twice, once in the caravan to Ul'dah, once when i did the grand tour for the remembrance ceremony (well, three times but i'm lumping those as one). I am worried about her well being........ ok, not really, but i'm curious.

Next up: Doman Emissary stuff i hope!
